micro1 is engaging Bilingual Vietnamese Psychiatrists to contribute to a customer-focused project. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters.


Scope of Work


  1. Develop and evaluate complex psychiatric case studies to inform AI model training with real-world, culturally nuanced scenarios.
  2. Conduct thorough psychological assessments and provide expert annotations reflecting Vietnamese psychiatric practices and perspectives.
  3. Produce clear, precise documentation and written analyses in both Vietnamese and English, ensuring cultural and clinical accuracy.
  4. Participate in interdisciplinary collaboration, sharing insights with AI project teams to enhance model understanding of psychiatric concepts.
  5. Apply ethical decision-making in the review and critique of sensitive case content, maintaining patient confidentiality and best practices.
  6. Contribute to the creation of bilingual communication frameworks for accurate psychiatric information exchange.
  7. Offer expert feedback on the analytical evaluation methods used by AI systems in mental health contexts.


Preferred Qualifications


  1. Medical degree (MD, MBBS, or equivalent) with completed psychiatry residency and a valid medical license
  2. Native fluency in Vietnamese and advanced proficiency in English, with demonstrated ability in both written and verbal communication.
  3. Extensive experience in psychiatric assessment, treatment planning, and case documentation within Vietnamese clinical settings.
  4. Proven capability to apply cultural sensitivity and ethical reasoning to complex mental health scenarios.
  5. Strong background in developing teaching materials or case studies for educational or research purposes.
  6. Experience collaborating on interdisciplinary projects, ideally involving technology, research, or digital health.
  7. Familiarity with both Western and Vietnamese psychiatric frameworks, with a commitment to high standards of professional integrity.

How big is the remote / hybrid opportunity?

Remote work is already huge — but the bigger story may be the hundreds of millions of jobs that could still move beyond geography.

Remote work already connects millions of people with companies they would never have been able to work for a decade ago. But compared with the size of the global labour market, it may still be early.

The interesting number is not only how many people work remotely today — it is how many roles could plausibly become remote or hybrid next.

The chart above starts with roughly 3.3 billion people employed worldwide. Around 300 million jobs are already remote or hybrid, while an additional pool of roughly 250 million roles could potentially move in that direction as technology, workflows and company culture continue to change.

Skills are becoming more portable

This matters because more work can increasingly be matched to expertise rather than location. AI training and evaluation are a good example: companies need lawyers, engineers, designers, editors, researchers, finance professionals and many other specialists to help improve AI systems.

For workers, that creates access to projects outside their local market. For companies, it expands the talent pool from one city or country to the world.
